PERMA issues notices to company for showing Indian serials

Pakistan’s media regulator has said that it has issued several show cause notices to a company distributing a private TV channel that broadcasts Indian serials. The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority made the declaration while responding to a petition filed in the Lahore High Court. PEMRA told the court last week that the private TV channel was not entitled to broadcast.
