‘Ashk’ Utter Disappointment

Ashk’. Its promotions showed all the characters in utter devastation when in fact everyone seems to do is playing games with each other. I did mention in one of my articles that the official soundtrack was a brutal copy of a Turkish song and frankly, finding something plagiarized in a hyped drama was not a good start. The story too seems to have no momentum and does rely somewhat on.

Yasir Shah, who came to the limelight with Balaji Telefilms’ Khwaish, has been on a hiatus from Indian Television for some time now. Lastly seen playing the protagonist Munjal in Sahara One’s Shorr, Yasir Shah is presently shooting for a short series in Pakistan titled Teray Pyar ke Bharosay -a 24 episodic series shot in film camera. The series has been shot in Dubai, Malaysia and Hydrabad.

Famous Actor Lehri Passes Away

The legendary comedian Safirullah Siddiqui popularly known as Lehri has passed away Thursday morning, Geo News reported. According to family sources, the veteran actor succumbed to his illness this morning. His son-in-law told that the actor was on ventilator for the past many days after his health deteriorated. Lehri was one of the country’s greatest comedians who made his name in Urdu.
